 Amaryllis Ethelinda Lindleigh (Meaning: Ethelinda: Medieval form of the Old English name Æðelind, derived from the elements æðel "noble" and lindi "snake". The name was very rare after the Norman conquest, but it was revived in the early 19th century. Amaryllis: Derived from Greek αμαρυσσω (amarysso) "to sparkle". This was the name of a heroine in Virgil's epic poem 'Eclogues'. The amaryllis flower is named for her.) Age: 16 From a noble family.
